Dr Sithembinkosi (Thembi) Dube

Dr. Dube is an Honorary Research Fellow at Macquarie University and Sessional Lecturer at University of New South Wales. She is a Psycho-Socio Linguist, passionate about language - particularly its nature, functions and application to real life.
She is also a competent researcher with vast experience in first and second language acquisition as well as language use in different social environments. Dr. Dube is passionate about motivating African diaspora youth to maintain their identity through learning their heritage languages.

Dr Cathrine Sibanda
HEAD INSTRUCTOR, SHONA
Dr Cathrine (Cathy) Sibanda is a senior lecturer in the Department of Languages, Literature and Culture in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Zimbabwe. She has research interests in Applied Linguistics with special focus on Sociolinguistics and Psycholinguistics matters of language within multilingual societies.
Dr Sibanda is passionate about language acquisition matters, with a special focus on promoting mother tongue acquisition, maintenance and use. She has a lot of experience in language matters gained over the past twenty years as both a researcher and teacher.

Ntombizodwa ( Zodwa ) Muhlwa
EXTRACURRICULAR AND CULTURAL EDUCATION COORDINATOR
Zodwa is a Registered Nurse and a Clinical facilitator for undergraduate Nursing students at the University of Newcastle . She has multiple transferable skills gained from her work experience including designing, planning and coordinating education programs.
As a mother raising children in Australia, Zodwa is passionate about helping her own and all other children in the Zimbabwean community achieve a great sense of pride in their heritage language and culture.

Lickel Ndebele
TEACHER, NDEBELE
Lickel Ndebele holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Ndebele and a Master of Arts Degree in African Languages and Literature both from the University of Zimbabwe. She is a lecturer and DPhil candidate at the University of Zimbabwe in the Department of Languages Literature and Culture. She teaches Ndebele as a second language, Indigenous knowledge systems, African Literature, Ndebele oral literature, Cultural studies as well as translation and Interpretation. She has published articles in Local and international referred Journals. Her research centres on African Cultural studies, indigenous knowledge systems and oral literature.
